Robinson Homestead

The horses will help farm the place (along with the little Japanese tractor), maybe do some logging, and provide a source of income in the form of broke farm/riding horses and crossbreds for the eventing and dressage markets. Wareing Shires ( DUA HE CHI FARM)
The first shires came to Dua He Chi's farm in 1966. Arlin carries membership number 27 in The American Shire Horse Association, and is a member of the Shire Horse Society of England. We began as active breeders with the importation of Jim's Chieftain 1967. Jim was the first Shire imported from England since the 1930's. We have maintained 4 to 5 breeding mares since the beginning and are active showmen both in Halter Breed Classes and competative Hitch Classes. Showing a six horse hitch of geldings since 1987.

Fox Valley Casanova is a 1990 English Shire stallion residing in Edgewood, NM. Casanova stands 18 hands and weighs in at about 1800 lbs. He is an excellent mover and is currently in dressage training. Casanova is typical of the type of shire produced by Bodernog Ambassador - well set head and neck, beautiful, kind head, good size, and perfect proportions. He has only been in training a couple of months and is already a very impressive mover. He has great impulsion, elasticity, and balance.
